Megan and her dad passed away in a tragic plane accident on December 29, 2016. Megan was 19 years old at the time and was a nursing student at the University of Wisconsin.  She had been accepted into the direct admit nursing program, and was thrilled to pursue her dream of become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Our family created Megan's Mission in 2017 as a celebration for Megan's 20th birthday for our incredible sister, daughter, and friend.  After collecting 1,000 baby blankets and seeing the impact Megan had on babies in the NICU, we decided to continue collecting items for the NICU in Megan's Memory.

Since the onset of Megan's Mission we have collected over 5,000 blankets and $25,000.00.  We have used the funds collected to purchase items needed for the NICU.  We are very grateful to our amazing donors.  We will continue to celebrate Megan's Birthday each December 3rd asking for donations for Megan's Mission.
